Assignment No. 2
I sympathise Jack. Jack and his mother are poor and have to survive on Milky-White, the cow for milk that will be sold in the market. Without the milk, they will starve. Jack has no father and he had to do something to survive. He actually wanted to work but nobody would take him. Unfortunately, he only got some beans. So, he had no choice but to steal some gold for he and his mother's well being. He wouldn't have sacrificed himself just to get some gold. It was very courageous of him to steal. If I were him, I would do the same so that my mother and i'll survive. Therefore, I sympathise him.
On the otherhand, I also sympathise the Giant. The golden harp could've been his precious item. It's not his fault that he has to chase him because it was wrong of Jack to steal. The Giant didn't do anything to Jack but Jack disturbed him and stole some of his food and his harp. It's also not wrong for the Giant to eat boys because that is his diet. That is what he eats. It is like us. Meat is also part of our diet and without them, we dont have energy. Therefore, I sympathise the Giant too.
